Golden Gate Bridge Northern Division
California Federation of Republican Women

|About Us| |Programs| |Elections| |Political Action| |Members Center|

The Northern Division Workshop is held in early January of every year. For the past 11 years we have met in Fairfield at the Courtyard by Marriott. Northern Division Board members have their first executive meeting of the year on the Friday before the workshop. All leaders from the clubs in Northern California should attend.

Leadership Guide will be handed out to all members in attendence.

The workshop reinforces the following ideas:1. Increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.

2. Inform the public through political education and activity.

3. Federated Women are not the fund raising arm of the Party.

4. Encourage like minded Republican women and men to join our club.

5. Support local community activities (Support our Troops Rally, Move America Forward).

6. Remember never refer to it as "The Pledge". Always say "Please stand for The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America."

We hold our meetings the 2nd week of each month; the specific day depends on one of our great speakers. We do not hold meetings in July and August, but that does not mean we don’t get together. We vary the meetings between luncheon and evening meetings (5:30PM – 8:00PM) and the cost is approximately $25. We developed a Fabulous!! new website in 2008, so please come check us out.

We are known for our friendliness - don’t be shy and give Blackhawk Republican Women a try!!

The Kensington Area Republican Women's Club (KARW) was originally formed in 1952, by a small group of Kensington women, to support John Baldwin, a Republican Candidate for congress. The purpose of the club is to inform membership of political issues as well as to promote and support Republican candidates for office. The named changed to Kensington Area to reflect the growing membership outside the Kensington borders. The club meets at noon on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Mira Vista Country Club in El Cerrito, except for June, July, and August, and meets the second Wednesday in December.

Our club was founded in 1950. We are like-minded Republicans who meet monthly, January-May and September-November. Meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of the month at Crow Canyon Country Club in Danville. Most are luncheons, with several dinner meetings throughout the year. Our large, active membership comes from the San Ramon Valley. We are known for electing Republicans, showcasing exceptional speakers on timely topics, and providing a wider knowledge of our Republican philosophy. Members are active in voter registration and election work. We care about our valley, our state and our country. We believe that our grassroots efforts make a difference through active citizenship. Do come and see how you can join us in making a difference.
