California Federation of Republican Women

The Northern Division Workshop is held in early January of every year. For the past 11 years we have met in Fairfield at the Courtyard by Marriott. Northern Division Board members have their first executive meeting of the year on the Friday before the workshop. All leaders from the clubs in Northern California should attend.

Leadership Guide will be handed out to all members in attendence.

The workshop reinforces the following ideas:1. Increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.

2. Inform the public through political education and activity.

3. Federated Women are not the fund raising arm of the Party.

4. Encourage like minded Republican women and men to join our club.

5. Support local community activities (Support our Troops Rally, Move America Forward).

6. Remember never refer to it as "The Pledge". Always say "Please stand for The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America."

We meet once a month on the 2nd Wednesday except for July. Most months, we meet at the Seascape Golf Club in Aptos. Our social hour starts at 11:30 a.m. followed by a short noon meeting and 12:30 luncheon. Our speaker starts about 12:45 and finishes at about 1:30 p.m. Each year we enter the 4th of July Aptos parade. We sponsor a holiday bridge luncheon, as well as a Summer Chocolate and Champagne Party, a Christmas get-together and a Day in the Country with a silent auction.

Incredible topics this year from Winning candidates to the 2nd Amendment. We collect at every meeting non perishable canned food donations for the Grey Bears project that helps local seniors.
