California Federation of Republican Women

Northern Division and I welcome you and invite you to join one of our 62 Northern Division clubs. You will stand with 4500 proud members of Northern Division who are affiliated with both the California Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women.

We feel privileged to uphold Republican values in the most beautiful areas of California – the 37 counties from the Oregon border south to the Monterey Peninsula with Nevada as our eastern boundary and the Pacific Ocean as our western boundary.

Our two annual conferences in 2008 will highlight the variety of the geographical landscapes in our Division. In April we shall meet at Jackson Rancheria in Gold Country, and in November we will convene at a hotel near San Francisco Bay .

Our State Federation’s office is located in our Division, in Sacramento , the State Capitol, right in the heart of political activism. This is where our CFRW Legislative Advocate, Michelle Connor, serves as our eyes and ears in the Capitol.

Once you are a member, your can join your voice with the voices of the finest of politically educated and astute women. We welcome you to work with us, as we educate ourselves about political issues on the state and national level. We emphasize Americanism and legislation at our monthly meetings. We conduct professional business meetings and engage excellent Republican speakers from the political, educational, and cultural arenas. We register voters and help with Get Out the Vote efforts. We encourage support for our fine service men and women. We assist with reading programs in local schools and help with community programs such as battered women shelters and children’s homes. Each club has its own unique programs that adapt to its area.

We invite you to join us to elect our Republican candidates in 2008 and help us implement our theme: “Republican Women- Honoring God, Country, and Family.”
